A Man With a Vision Larger Than Life

Dear Friends and Ministry Partners,
I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! I hope you and your family are doing well and staying safe during these unprecedented times. I want to share a little story with you.
In 1993, a man came into my life who left such an impression on me that I knew he was far and above most people, I had ever met. His passion and compassion for his country, India, exceeded that of hundreds of those who had spoken in the churches at which I was privileged to pastor over the last 59 years. His name is Dr. John J. Y. Arul. Suddenly, he was gone from us on July 7, 2020, after battling Covid-19 on a ventilator in a hospital in India. John Arul is the founder of Love and Care Ministries International.
I thank God for the large foundation he laid in organizing and training pastors and leaders for many years to do the work of the ministry. However, there was no one in line to take his place on the front lines as the scope of the vision he embraced was far too broad for one person (except John Arul) to grasp or successfully carry forward. I am pleased to inform you that John’s children are stepping up to the massive challenge, each one engaging in the area of ministry for which they are individually suited. Praise the Lord for the heritage John and Malliga have established through the lives of their children, Priya Murphy, Sophia Lilyquist, Sam Arul, Mercia Arul, and Moses Arul. Love and Care Ministries International will go forward with their input.
I am calling on all who have supported this ministry in the past and those who are hearing about it for the first time to partner with us so that rather than slowing down the ministry, we will reach new heights for the glory of God. Please consider all that has been done by the efforts of this remarkable man, John Arul, and let us throw all our hearts into backing this team of fantastic people to see Love and Care Ministries flourish.
